1. EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Charles KUKULU is a lawyer and the volunteer president and legal Representative of CONGO PEACE INITIATIVE, CPI ngo working in prevention, conflict managment, democratic culture and Human Rights since 1998.
Actively implicated in the process of Congolese dialog in South Africa as the member of civil society and the focal point of regional board for to against racism in Africa Post Durban (2001).
Mr Charles KUKULU is a consultant in conflict management and electoral process; experienced in administration, human rights advocacy, making plan of action, projects and professional facilitation, writing reports, coordinating networks of associations, funds management and fundraising activities, evaluation and projects coordination and evaluation.
Mr Charles Kukulu began high school in polical and administrative science to Kisangani University; he pursue to the University of Kinshasa in law faculty ( B.A public international law October 1998).Certificate in Conflict resolution by US Department of state won as international visitor, Washington DC, May 2002. Mr Charles KUKULU is the coordinator and focal point of regional delegate to the WCAR/UN (world conference against racism in Durban, South Africa 2001) the international visitor’s program in conflict resolution USA 2002(Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Seattle, California, Georgia) and the SADC regional conference for good governance in MALAWI (IFES, Blantyre 2003).
In 2004, Mr Charles working with the National NGO network (CNONG) and with the church of Christ in DRC: ECC, international civil society, as a consultant for peace project in Bunia –Ituri and the great lakes region (2004). A excellent experience in mediation, conflict management training, community problem solving work in partnership (with UN/OCHA, UNDP,UNHCR,UNHCDH, MONUC, Christian aid, Peace and development, Care international, USAID, UE, Norwegian Fund…). He works also as an expert or consultant to the truth and reconciliation commission in DRC (community-peace and reconciliation initiative). A great contribution and advocacy concern draft of essential law of this institution. As Expert, Mr Charles working in eleclectoral independent commission, CEI/DRC as an electoral trainer, mobilization of Congolese people to participate to the vote, electoral litigation and law consultant. 2006-2008)www.cei-rdc.cd. Mr Charles KUKULU is also a member of ICC http://www.iccnow.org the coalition for the international criminal court.
